I'm kristina—

author, coach, counselor-in-training,and a lifelong lover of home, hosting, and handwritten notes. I help women find healing, hope, and wholeness—in heartbreak, in singleness, in motherhood, and in the sacred everyday.

My Story, Honestly…It all started with a blog called Wake Up Wonder in 2016. I had a pen, journal, and a free WordPress website that helped me share my ideas, thoughts, and experiences with others. It was small and simple, but it was the beginning of my love for writing, encouragement, and community.

Not long ago, I was heartbroken and unraveling—staring at the ashes of a life I thought I’d be living. What I thought was my forever love ended before the wedding ever began, and everything I had pictured for my future suddenly slipped away.

In those quiet, disorienting months, I did what I knew to do: I wrote. I prayed. I sat in counseling rooms and grocery store parking lots and slowly learned how to live from a place of wholeness, not perfection.

Somewhere along the way, that heartbreak became holy. And it gave birth to the book I needed but couldn’t find.

Today, you’ll find me writing from my cozy North Carolina home, chasing two little boys in between coffee breaks and grad school classes. I’m a mom, a wife, a counselor-in-training, and a firm believer that healing is holy work—and God’s not finished with your story yet.

hello there,

What does a writer, mom, grad student, and design-obsessed homebody come to love? Snail mail. Cozy corners. Fresh flowers (Trader Joes, IYKYK!). Baking banana bread (gluten free, of course). Saturday slow mornings (with lots of coffee). Helping women come home to themselves (forever, my most favorite).

Very into: lemony desserts, handwritten notes, and building a life that feels honest, meaningful, and a little bit magical.

So whether you just walked through a breakup, feel like you’ve lost yourself somewhere along the way, or need someone to speak life into your story—I’m here. And I’m cheering you on.

Cue the music—yes, these are a few of my favorite things.✨
